Pools are open

For parents whose kids have been home since school let out for spring break, summer, in some ways, feels like it’s been in session for months. When summer swim team leagues were canceled, there was real concern that pools may not even open for the summer. Those same parents couldn’t help but wonder how long summer could actually last. Fortunately, community pools throughout the area have started to open for residents’ use, and parents and kids couldn’t be happier. Not only can kids burn off energy in the pool, adults are also able to swim laps and reconnect with neighbors along the pool deck.
