Wish Week at Valor

Thirteen-year-old Finley loves fishing, Colorado sports teams and the popular online game Fortnite. Finely was chosen as the 2026 Wish Kid for Valor Christian High School (Valor), to raise money for his wish to visit Hawaii with his family. Finley has leukemia.

Wish Week activities included a teacher-vs-student Fortnite dance battle, where Finley chose the students as the winning team. Senior Reed Fisk won the Mr. Eagle competition, an annual favorite featuring musical performances, hidden talents, and lots of laughter.

The Valor student community raised more than $35,000 for Make-A-Wish Colorado, covering not just Finley’s wish, but the wishes of other kids as well.
