Grab your helmet and bike and get ready for the twentieth annual Elephant Rock Cycling Festival. This unofficial start to summer takes place on Sunday, June 3, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock. Courses ranging from eight miles to 100 miles are available for riders of all abilities, both in the dirt and on the road. Children ages five to twelve can participate in the off-road E-Rock Kids Race. After the races, enjoy a post-ride picnic and cycling expo. The cost to register varies from $25 to $50, depending upon the course selected. The E-Rock Kids Race is free. Douglas County Fairgrounds is located one mile east of I-25 and Plum Creek Parkway.
