Men’s fitness group builds momentum

Members of the Castle Pines chapter of the men’s fitness group F3 Nation––which stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith––take a breather atop the Parker incline to capture the beautiful Colorado sunrise.
In 2020, a global men’s fitness group, F3 Nation, began a Castle Pines chapter and it is going strong today (see The Connection July 2023, “Men’s group more than meets the eye”).
F3 blends physical fitness with leadership development and community impact.
F3, which stands for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith, originated in North Carolina in 2011 and has grown into a global network with more than 5,400 scheduled workouts each week across 460 regions worldwide.
“F3 is different from any other workout group as it’s not just about the exercise; it’s about developing community leaders and challenging men to live for something bigger than themselves,” said Rob Hazlehurst, an F3 participant and Canterbury Park HOA resident.
F3 meets every Wednesday and Friday at 6 a.m.––rain or shine––at Elk Ridge Park, with average attendance ranging from eight to 12 men per session.
“F3 isn’t a religious organization,” added Mike Rabon, the current site leader for F3 and an HOA2 neighbor, “but we encourage every man to explore what it means to live with purpose.”
