The new school year brings the usual changes – new classes, new teachers and new friends. But Timber Trail Elementary School (TTE) is also rolling out some new programs, including a program called Project Based Learning (PBL). PBL is a teaching approach that presents students with real-life problems and then allows them to use a variety of methods to solve them.

“PBL gives students the four “C”s – critical thinking, collaboration, community and creativity,” said TTE Principal Michele Radke. “This program gives our students the skills they need to be twenty-first century learners.”
