A new home in nature’s surroundings

Dan and Tristin Gleason have called Colorado home for nearly three decades. Before their recent move to The Village at Castle Pines, the family lived in Lone Tree for 23 years where they raised their two boys, who graduated from Highlands Ranch High School, Luke in 2022 and Nick in 2024.
Dan and Tristin met in 1997 when they worked at the same construction company, Tristin as a project engineer and Dan as the director of finance. They celebrated 23 years of marriage in June.
From St. Louis, Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri. Tristin is from Madera, California and earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Fresno State University. She also was a member of the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush cheerleading squad from 1991-1996 and on the field when the football team won the Super Bowl against the San Diego Chargers in 1995.
While the Gleasons met when working for the same company, Tristin and Dan’s career paths have varied. Tristin currently heads the construction division of FSB Healthcare Realty. Earlier in her career, she consulted on various projects for FSB when she had her own construction management firm, Project One Integrated Services. Tristin and her business partner founded the company in 1999. After selling the firm in 2018 and taking some time with her boys, Tristin joined the FSB team. Dan worked with Tristin for nine years when he was the chief financial officer for Project One, before spending five years as the owner of The Exercise Coach Lone Tree. He has recently returned to his career in corporate finance.
With both sons in college, Luke at CU Boulder and Nick at Florida State University, Dan and Tristin decided it was time for a change. They had been looking to move for some time, wanting a “house with good bones” that they could make their own.
“Castle Pines allows us to feel as though we live in the mountains but are close enough to enjoy all that Denver has to offer. We were instantly drawn to the way in which the homes are incorporated into the natural surroundings,” Dan said.
When not working or in school, the Gleason family enjoys traveling, playing golf, spending time in Winter Park and exploring the trails with their 10-year-old Havanese named Forest.
“We feel blessed to get to live in such a beautiful neighborhood,” said Tristin. “We are excited to explore and learn more about the Village and meet more of our neighbors.”
