Broncos bring the heat – A season to remember
It has been a season to remember for the Denver Broncos, who finished the 2025 regular season 14–3, including eight wins at Empower Field at Mile High, tying franchise records for most wins (1998) and most home wins (2014).
The Broncos also won their first AFC West title in a decade, earning the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, a first-round bye, and home-field advantage throughout the postseason. Adding to the season’s uniqueness was Denver’s unusually warm winter. Every home game kicked off at 55 degrees or warmer: with highs of 82 degrees in September, 72 degrees in October, and 69 degrees on January 4, which broke the previous daily record high of 67 degrees set in 1956, making it the warmest January home game in Broncos history.
