Career Day
Hollen Wheeler presented on career opportunities in the communications field at Career Day at Rocky Heights Middle School on November 7.
Rocky Heights Middle School held Career Day for eighth grade students on Friday, November 7. Industry leaders made presentations from the following fields: medicine, engineering, real estate, media, law enforcement and sports.
Hollen Wheeler, Editor of The Castle Pines Connection, presented on careers in the communications field, highlighting job descriptions in public affairs and journalism and some of her personal career highlights.
“The students were amazing and attentive and asked relevant and thoughtful questions,” said Hollen. “I hope I convinced a few to become public affairs representatives or journalists.”
