This year, the 5280+ Senior Chorales (Chorales) celebrated 10 years of bringing music and spirited performances to venues across Douglas County. The Chorales’ mission is to “provide significant and measurable health and wellness benefits of choral singing to mature adults.”
The founders chose the Chorales moniker as a nod to Denver being 5,280 feet in altitude; the Chorales accepts members 50 to 80+ years young. The Chorales are comprised of three different singing groups who, in addition to singing, enjoy social connections with picnics and other events outside of rehearsals.
Eleven singers reside in Castle Pines.
