Election information

Ballots for the upcoming Coordinated Election on Tuesday, November 4 will be mailed to all eligible voters in Douglas County beginning on Friday, October 10.

Follow the checklist below to make sure you are election-ready:

  1. Visit Colorado’s secure, statewide voter registration database, GoVoteColorado.gov to register to vote, check your voter registration status, select your political affiliation, or update your mailing address. If your mailing address has changed since you last voted in a Douglas County election, be certain to update it now to ensure you receive your mail ballot and other important election information.
  2. Visit DouglasVotes.com to sign up for phone, text or email notifications from BallotTrax and watch your ballot from the time it is mailed to you to when it is accepted at Douglas County Elections.
  3. Twenty-three secure ballot drop boxes will be open 24 hours a day beginning October 10 through 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 4. Most 80108-ers will drop their ballot at the drop box behind the Douglas County Library – Castle Pines at 360 Village Square Lane.
  4. For those who need in-person voter assistance, visit one of the four Voter Service and Polling Center locations to register to vote or update your voter registration, replace a ballot, drop off your voted ballot, vote in person, or use an ADA-accessible voting machine until 7 p.m. on Election Day.
  5. DouglasVotes.com is your source for official election information. Colorado has been conducting all-mail ballot elections since 2014 and is regarded as a national model for election integrity, security, and high voter turnout.
