Kicking off the year at Timber Trail Elementary

Foam faced and having fun, students of all ages could not get enough of the foam party at Timber Trail Elementary Back to School Splash.
Timber Trail Elementary (TTE) students enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at the annual Back to School Splash, held in September. The schoolyard transformed into a welcome back celebration featuring giant inflatables, lawn games, face painting and a foam party. The dunk tank was especially popular, giving students the chance to throw a ball to engage a bucket of water to dump onto Principal Dr. Rob Thelen and a few teachers.
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) extended a warm thank you to those who helped make the event possible, including the high school volunteers from Rock Canyon and Mountain Vista high schools who kept activities running smoothly.
“We are so grateful for the support of our community,” said PTO Co-Presidents Desiree Gentile and Dawn Medina. “It was a great way to kick off the school year, and we are looking forward to many more exciting events ahead.”
Onsite food was provided by Los Molinos and Cole Eatery Burgers and Wings, both of whom generously donated a portion of their proceeds back to TTE.
“The Back to School Splash was a tremendous success and a wonderful way to strengthen our partnership with the community,” said Thelen. “Events like this remind us how special Timber Trail is.”

Timber Trail Elementary B.A.S.E Director Matt LeClaire got quite the dunk from lucky kindergartener Liam S.
