DCL Brew Tour brings adults together

Douglas County Libraries (DCL) is partnering with coffee shops and breweries for its annual Brew Tour, a community contest where participants log their visits to the venues for rewards, points and prizes. From August 1 to September 30, the Brew Tour allows residents to experience different DCL libraries while also supporting local businesses.
Registration for the Brew Tour is free and required for participation. With every cup of joe or pint, you add points to your Brew Card for rewards. By attending Power Hours and DCL-hosted Brew Tour events at area libraries and select brewery locations, you can earn more points.
The way the scoring works: 5 points received for each location visit; 5 points for each Power Hour visit; 10 points for each event you attend. Some examples of prizes: a person with 80 points receives a Brew Tour water bottle and a person with 120 points will receive a Brew Tour baseball or sun hat. There will be a grand prize drawing in October.
