Garden club annual fashion show
The Village Castle Pines Garden Club (VCPGC) Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon was a huge success on Friday, May 16. Eighty-nine members joined at the Hilton Denver Inverness for this grand finale of the fiscal year.
Eight members modeled three outfits each, strutting down the runway to music selections that they chose themselves. The outfits ranged from very casual to formal and were provided again this year by Parker Panache, located on Mainstreet in Parker.
Mistress of Ceremonies and VCPGC President, Liane Mair, provided entertaining commentary on the outfits worn by the models and some fascinating facts on the models’ backgrounds and interests.
Lunch was a buffet including salad, bread, chicken, green beans, polenta and dessert. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy great company, and each received floral gardening gloves as party favors.
