Gelling in her own space

The Nail Room (TNR), a full-service nail salon, opened its doors at Sola Salons in October 2024. Offering gel-manicures and pedicures with a focus on sculpted gel services and basic nail art, TNR aims to be a relaxing atmosphere for personalized pampering. Behind the manicure table is owner and sole technician, Jacke Golomski, a Castle Valley resident.
Jacke has been a nail technician for 25 years and finally took the leap to pursue her life-long aspiration of owning her own salon. TNR is her first business venture, and she stated, “It has been a dream in the making—I spent years perfecting my craft and envisioning the kind of space I wanted to create.”
With her level of experience, Jacke shared that she had reached the point where she did not want to play by the corporate rules she experienced at other nail salons. “I love what I do and I want my clients to love their experience with me just as much,” she added.
Empowerment, thoughtfulness and kindness are Jacke’s values for TNR while also making her clients feel beautiful and refreshed. Jacke added that she also wants TNR to be a community-oriented space, where she can build relationships with her clients while she files, paints and perfects their nails.
“What I love most is connecting with people,” stated Jacke. “Doing nails is such a personal, creative service—helping someone feel beautiful and confident is so rewarding. I also love being part of the Castle Rock community.”
Jacke, husband Ryan, and two daughters, Tess (17) and Tia (15), have lived in Castle Pines for nine years. “It’s such a warm, welcoming community, and I feel lucky to call it home,” she stated.
When Jacke is not in the salon, she enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, working out, cooking and traveling. Most importantly, she loves spending time with her daughters and her husband of 20 years, Ryan. “Ryan has been my rock throughout this journey and was instrumental in helping me start my business.”
