Smashing ALS one point at a time
PicklePalooza II drew nearly 400 players and spectators to Founders Park in Castle Rock on June 7, a 52% increase in participation from last year’s fundraising event. Hosted by Paul’s Mystery Ship to End ALS, the tournament featured 78 teams competing in divisions 2.5–4.0. The event was host to friendly matches, food, music and awareness booths, which were decked out in colors of purple and yellow symbolizing courage, strength and hope. Raffles included prize bundles sponsored by generous local vendors and community businesses.
“We would like to thank everyone in our community for the tremendous participation, outreach and support of PicklePalooza II,” shared Bonnie Donnels, founder and president of Paul’s Mystery Ship to End ALS.
