The Connection team celebrates 16 years
The Connection team gathered at the beautiful The Brinkerhoff steakhouse in Castle Rock last month to celebrate friendship, hard work and meaningful milestones.
The start of 2026 marks the beginning of The Castle Pines -Connection’s 17th year of delivering “a little good news” to the Castle Pines community.

Staff members Nancy Koontz and Krysta Parr (pictured left) received recognition for 10 years of service, joining the ranks of six other staff members who have been a part of our team for more than a decade. We also celebrated a few five-year anniversaries and welcomed three new team members in 2025.
“I am so grateful for the people behind the paper,” said Publisher Terri Wiebold. “Our staff––your neighbors––are the heart and soul of the stories we bring you every month.”
