Directional Well Drilling Project Update – April 14, 2004

The second phase of the directional water well project continues in CPN. The directional well is located north of Coyote Ridge Park, and will connect to the vertical well that was recently drilled near Hidden Pointe Blvd. and Monarch Blvd.

Dirt work and surface casing required for the directional well was completed the first week of April. Mobilization of the directional well site and drilling began on April 5th.

By utilizing this innovative technology, the Metro District hopes to reduce the cost of drilling additional vertical wells to meet the supply needs of our community.

If you would like to schedule a site tour of this innovative project, or for more information, please contact Judy Dahl at the Castle Pines North Metro District at 303-660-5880, ext. 11.

The Metro District will add 10 additional pet litter clean-up stations to the CPN trails this spring. Pet owners are asked to clean up after their dogs and remember to keep dogs leashed at all times when using the trails and open spaces.
