A busy day for the Tooth Fairy

On May 4, seven fourth graders at Timber Trail Elementary each lost a tooth at school.

Teacher Jeanette Proctor said, “I have been teaching for 25 years and I have never had that many kids lose a tooth in one week, let alone, one afternoon.” Proctor added that the first picture she took had five kids in it but within five minutes, she had to snap another photo because a sixth boy lost a tooth.

“Unbelievably, I had to take a third picture when 12 minutes later, the seventh kid lost her tooth,” Proctor said. And if this wasn’t enough of a coincidence, Proctor learned (the following day) that an eighth student lost her tooth on the way home on May 4.
