Buffalo Ridge Elementary (BRE) was excited to share its second school-wide showcase with the community in December.  The quarterly showcases are designed to give family, friends, and the community an opportunity to stop by BRE and view the students’ semester work.

As part of the Douglas County School District’s concept of “enduring understanding,” students are taught to learn and recognize information that they can take from the classroom and use in real life.

The second semester presentations focused on the theme “collaboration cultivates creativity” and allowed each grade to take learning beyond the traditional classroom.

BRE expects to have two more showcases this school year, and students will no doubt be as excited to highlight their achievements as they were this past semester.
