More than 100 business people enjoyed lively conversation and a delicious buffet at Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce’s (CPCC) recent multi chamber “business after-hours” event at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center. CPCC president and event organizer Sharon Kollmar said, “The event was a networking extravaganza of sorts; the perfect opportunity to meet other business professionals who you may have otherwise never had a chance to meet.”

CPCC members were joined by members of the Highlands Ranch, Larkspur, and Lone Tree Chambers of Commerce. This was the first time that CPCC has hosted the event. CPCC Vice President Carla Kenny and Highlands Ranch Chamber of Commerce President Steve Dyer agreed that the mixing of the different chambers is a great opportunity for members.

“Chambers of commerce can be a little competitive with one another,” said Kenny, “but we all really enjoy these events and our members definitely benefit from them.”

CPCC’s next business after-hours event will be held Tuesday, June 7 at La Dolce Vita in Castle Pines from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will be hosted by Ray Stein of Trilogy Financial and La Dolce Vita. Admission is free to all Chamber members and is $10 for non-members.

CPCC was established in 2007 as Business in the Pines and officially became the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce in 2008. CPCC has approximately 190 members, including business owners and community residents.
