“Exercise” added to E Guide

For more than a decade, the E Guide has been the colorful magazine insert in The Connection newspaper that showcases restaurants and events in and around the community. Beginning this month, there will be a new addition to the E Guide…exercise.

What began in 2015 as The Connection Food & Dining Guide evolved into the E Guide in 2018, featuring all things Eating, Entertainment and Events. It includes a two-page, pull-out monthly community calendar, a complimentary spotlight on an area restaurant or entertainment venue, and lots of choices for dining in and around Castle Pines.

“As the community has grown, so has the demand for additional dining and recreational options,” explained Publisher Terri Wiebold. “The E Guide is the perfect ‘go to’ for planning where to go for dinner, what to do over the weekend, and how to stay active during the week.”

The E Guide is also an affordable way for area nonprofit partners to feature events such as golf tournaments, galas and fundraisers. (All charitable organizations receive a complimentary ad upgrade when being featured in the E Guide.)

Since Douglas County is regularly recognized as one of the healthiest counties in the country, it is apropos that “Exercise” be added as the fourth “E.” Look for the E Guide to now include planned athletic events like 5Ks, fitness classes, health clubs and recreational centers. Think club sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball and baseball, and other activities like cheerleading camps, gymnastics, swimming, etc. We encourage you to invite the places you frequent to join us.

While the E Guide is printed monthly, it is also available digitally on our website and compatible for smart phones with live links in the center of every ad, directing users to additional information. Be sure to check out this month’s E Guide––all things Eating, Entertainment, Events and Exercise.
