Green Earth gives back

By Lisa Crockett

Earth-friendly practices are a cornerstone of how business is done at Green Earth Cleaners, and its fall charity drive incorporates one of the most effective “green” techniques – recycling. During the months of October and November, Green Earth will give a $5 coupon to patrons who donate winter coats to be distributed to various Douglas County charities.

“We’ll have a basket in the front of the store to collect coats,” said the store’s General Manager, Karen Thyfault. “We feel that it’s important to keep our donations close to home, here in the county. We’ll also make sure the coats are clean before they’re donated.”

Donations will be accepted during the stores regular hours: weekdays from 6:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The store is located at 556 Village Square Lane. For questions about the drive, contact Karen Thyfault at 303-660-5522.
