Jack’s Modern Steakhouse

Nestled at 9155 Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree, Jack’s Modern Steakhouse brings a new distinctive culinary concept to the South Metro area. Bridging a gap for food lovers in Castle Rock, Parker and Highlands Ranch, Jack’s offers Australian Wagyu and in-house, dry-aged fish along with modern American steakhouse classics and so much more. Jack’s also houses The Blind Tiger, a speakeasy located downstairs from the main dining room.
But first, upstairs. Jack’s menu has traditional offerings and also tries to break the mold of a traditional steakhouse. This concept follows the team’s success with their popular Denver staple, Jack’s on Pearl, bringing that same innovative culinary energy to the new location, which opened earlier this year.
Following Jack’s initial opening in January, a devastating indoor fire forced the restaurant to close just days after opening. “We were open for only eight days before the fire forced us to close,” President Darryl Shoemake said. “But we retained 95% of our staff. They stayed on, and when we finally reopened, the community rallied around us.” It took a three-and-a-half-month rebuild to repair the damage, showing the team’s resilience. “I had never been in a situation like this,” said bartender Nate Campbell.

Arriving at Jack’s, guests step into an elevated upstairs ambiance. Spacious yet intimate, the dining room boasts sweeping views of the Front Range and a striking marble bar. Throughout the building, Jack’s delivers an inviting experience that thoughtfully balances approachable everyday dining with a destination-worthy atmosphere, anchored by lively energy and attentive service.
Wondering what to order?
“Our top dish is the Champion Filet,” Darryl explained. “We took it to the RARE Steak Competition, where 2,000 people voted it the best among the top steakhouses.” It’s an Australian Wagyu filet topped with Calabrian peppers and foie gras butter—the acidity of the peppers perfectly balances the deep marbling of the beef, Darryl added. Pair an order with the duck-fat French fries, complete with a small rubber ducky perched on top. The kitchen also offers Champion Filet Bites made with Wagyu tips, duck-fat cheesy potato cakes, roasted Calabrian peppers and foie gras. For a lighter option, order the grilled pecan shrimp, fired over their in-house, pecan-wood grill.

Beyond steak, Jack’s is pioneering a process uncommon in the region. “Not very many people are doing dry-aged seafood, but we’ve been mastering this process for over three years,” Darryl said. “It removes natural impurities and excess moisture and what you end up with is a pristine piece of fish, true to its natural flavor.”
Jack’s sashimi bar offers an outstanding lineup, including award-winning Triple Combo Sashimi plate. Other must-tries include the Chilean sea bass and the crisp, fresh rainbow roll, both perfect for fish lovers.
Jack’s is also open for brunch with favorites like the scrumptious Captain Crunch French Toast. This dish features vanilla cream-stuffed brioche coated in Captain Crunch, chocolate waffle pearls, crème anglaise with fresh berries and a side of lemon streusel ice cream.

Tucked away downstairs, The Blind Tiger is a treasure that brings a cozy, sophisticated 1920s New Orleans jazz vibe to the venue. This alluring speakeasy features secluded seating areas framed by deep tones and low lighting. It has its own personality, featuring an active raw bar, appetizing bites and an innovative craft cocktail menu. It provides a relaxed escape from the main dining floor.
Stop by for a Soft N’ Smokey signature cocktail or a Jack’s Smoked Old Fashioned prepared by mixologist Michael Phillips. Follow your drink with a sweet finish, such as the Crème Brûlée Key Lime Pie or White Chocolate Ube Cheesecake. The bar also offers a fantastic selection of delicious mocktails.
And coming this month, guests can also take the experience home with Jack’s To-Go—a convenient new pickup extension operating directly out of the existing Lone Tree restaurant.
Whether you are celebrating a special occasion upstairs or unwinding with a craft cocktail downstairs or want to get a yummy dinner to go, Jack’s is a destination that definitely belongs on your itinerary.
