The business of being a community servant is a tricky one and often times a thankless one. So, this month we give special appreciation to the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce and the City of Castle Pines for the amazing work they do behind the scenes to make this community a better place.

For anyone who has attended an in-person event recently in the City of Castle Pines or any business owner who has looked for guidance or support in the past 18 months, you know what an amazing job these organizations – and those who work within them – do.

What you may not know is that those working hard behind the scenes take a lot of heat, often times unwarranted, for things outside of their control. A vendor doesn’t show up … the weather doesn’t cooperate … a pandemic happens … construction causes traffic … the water stops working … All things that lead to understandable frustration.

Please everyone take a moment and celebrate that there are good people in this community doing good things. Offer grace and understanding, and laugh it off when life’s frustrations get to you. And most importantly, say “thank you” often.
