Castle Pines Village residents Jake Mullins, and Tim Toole started a DJ company this summer, and are already a hit in the neighborhood! The company, called TJ DJ’s provided the music at the Village neighborhood pool opening over Memorial Day, and they’ve had several gigs since.

Mullins and Toole are school friends who share a passion for music and who were inspired to start their own business doing what they love. Mullins, who will be in eighth grade at American Academy also break dances, sings, acts, plays the guitar, and enjoys golfing. “Singing is really what I love to do. My voice is my instrument,” he remarked. Toole will be a freshman at Regis Jesuit in the fall. “Music is my passion,” he stated. “I listen to music constantly!” In addition, Toole likes to act, make movies, play the guitar, and golf.

They have invested in their company by purchasing their own equipment – including soundboards, amplifiers, speakers and microphones. They are currently saving up for turntables so they can make more of their own music mixes.

Their DJ company is able to provide a wide range of music and they enjoy playing a variety of types of parties, from summer parties by the pool to graduation parties, to casual get-togethers. Their pricing makes their services even more attractive, as they charge $30 per hour as compared to other more expensive options.

To book a party or find out more about the business, TJ DJ’s may be reached on Facebook at www.facebook.com/tjdj32 or call 310-613-2119.
