Residents Celebrate New Skateboard Park

By Lane Roberts

On Saturday, May 6, Castle Pines North (CPN) celebrated the official grand opening of the new skateboard park at Coytote Ridge Park, presented by the CPN Master Association and CPN Metro District.

Adults and children of all ages enjoyed live music by Solid Life U-Turn Youth Band, ice cream donated by Sinton Dairy, and cookies. Kids also enjoyed jump castles, which were compliments of Derek Kliner with ReMax Alliance. South Metro Fire Rescue and Sky Ridge Medical Center gave away dozens of helmets, water bottles and helmet safety information. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was also on hand to provide 911 safety information.

Throughout the afternoon, more than 20 prizes were given away. Thank you to all of the sponsors who helped make this event a success!
