Fall fundraisers at Timber Trail Elementary have combined fun, physical fitness and community spirit and achieved great results.

Participants in the school’s first-ever Move-A-Thon. The event raised more than $59,000, making it the school’s most successful fundraiser ever. About $9,700 of the money raised will be given to Harrington Elementary School in Denver.

“The Move-a-Thon presented a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn what it means to have ‘Healthy Hearts, Caring Hearts,’” said TTE Principal Michelle Radke. “And to reinforce that Timber Trail is ‘Where Hearts and Minds Connect.’”
