RCHS freshmen cheer wins state championship

The RCHS Freshmen Cheer squad after winning the state championship on December 13 at Cherokee Trails High School. The team won all six of their regular season competitions. The roster includes: Ashley Miller, Hailey Mosteller, Julia Nelson, Jessica Palyo, Amanda Rissler, Jenna Rivera, Jetta Schwiegerath, Natalie Valdes, Payton Warder, Jaycee Weber, Haylee Weise, Abi Wolf, and Kelsey Young. Abi Wolf said, “Some people don’t take cheerleading seriously. If they knew how hard we work, it would change their mind!”
