Summer babysitting certification classes

Summer is a great time for ‘tweens and teens to earn some extra money while helping families with babysitting needs. South Metro Safety Foundation (SMSF) is the place to get the skills to be a SUPER sitter, since keeping kids safe is top priority.

The SMSF Super Sitting course is for youth ages 11 to 14.  Students will be certified in American Heart Association Infant and Child CPR and AED use as well as advanced babysitting skills and pediatric first aid skills.  

Courses are offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $60 at South Metro Fire Station #41, 10795 South Pine Drive in Parker or at South Metro Fire Rescue Authority Headquarters, 9195 E. Mineral Avenue in Centennial.

Saturday, July 25:  Centennial
Saturday, August 8:  Parker
Saturday, August 29:  Centennial
Saturday, September 26:  Centennial
