CALF raises big bucks at annual fundraiser
The Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation (CALF) held its annual Legends of Agriculture Benefit Dinner on Friday, September 18, at CALF’s Lowell Ranch in Castle Rock.
The sold-out event honored Teri and Mark Moore, longtime Douglas County residents and devoted contributors to agriculture, the western way of life and youth education in the community. Almost 400 guests enjoyed live entertainment, a whiskey tasting, delicious food and a live auction.
“I am so pleased to share that this was the highest grossing event in CALF’s history, with a total of $234,814 raised,” stated Elizabeth Hoffner, director of operations for CALF. “The energy in the room was electric and even the rain cooperated beautifully. It truly felt like we were at the end of a rainbow, with something special happening both outside and inside the tent.”
CALF is a nonprofit that was established in 2002 with a mission to connect all people to agriculture through educational programs, projects and leadership opportunities. For more information, visit thecalf.org.
