Heroes Gala 2026

The Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) gathered with 510 guests at the Signature Aviation hangar at Centennial Airport, raising more than $315,000 to support Douglas County nonprofits and celebrate first responders, military, veterans, healthcare workers, educators and everyday heroes making an impact in the community. Among the evening’s honorees were Air Force veteran, businessman and philanthropist John Sieber; former DCSO Sheriff, County Commissioner and U.S. Marshall Dave Weaver; and the Douglas County Helitack Team, who received a $10,000 contribution from DCCF.
