Cherokee Ranch widens entrance
The entrance to Cherokee Ranch & Castle is under construction and will be widened for safer access to and from the property.
Construction is underway to widen the front entrance to Cherokee Ranch & Castle (Castle) on Daniels Park Road in Sedalia. The aim is for better, smoother access to the Castle.
“We are making it safer for our guests, staff and vendors to enter and exit the property,” said Greg Vigil, executive director at the Castle. The project has two phases. The original gate at the entrance was relocated and two lanes with lighting were added for easier entry and exit. Additional space was also added to accommodate larger vehicles. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
“We want to make it beautiful and an entrance worthy of the Castle’s rich history and legacy,” said Greg.
