Generations Joining in Thanksgiving
Students and residents of Legacy Village shared Thanksgiving cookies, conversation and a singalong to “You Are My Sunshine.”
Timber Trail Elementary first grade students shared the Thanksgiving holiday spirit with the residents of Legacy Village of Castle Pines. The group enjoyed cookies, conversation and a singalong to “You Are My Sunshine.”
The children read a short story, “Let’s Have Thanksgiving.” Each child represented a native American, pilgrim or turkey and the narrative included historical facts and traditions about the holiday – giving thanks, time with family and friends and eating pumpkin pie while watching football.
