At Buffalo Ridge Elementary School, Ashton K. (center) took first place in the school spelling bee after correctly spelling “circadian.” Ashton and fellow fourth graders, Josh (left) and Sienna (right), were all in it together until Ashton came up with the correctly-spelled championship word in round ten.
Fifth grader Max K. (right) took top honors at Timber Trail Elementary’s spelling bee, correctly spelling “tangible” for the win. Kameron B., also a fifth grader (left) was first runner up. Both Boys were congratulated by school principal Michele Radke (center).
