The American Academy Board of Directors (AABOD) recently confirmed the selection of Erin Kane as the new head of school. Kane has been serving as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer since last November. Board President, Chad King stated, “After a lengthy search process, the Board has concluded, based in no small part on the feedback we received from our faculty, staff and parent representatives, that there is no candidate who can match the qualities that Erin brings to the job.”

Kane, founding member of the school, has served as president of the AABOD for the past six years. Kane has worked in management throughout much of her professional career. She is a Colorado native with an engineering degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Colorado, and is also a co-founder of Epsilon Solutions, a technology and business systems consulting company in Castle Pines North.

Kane says, “For the past six years, working for the success of American Academy has been both my passion and my privilege. I am optimistic about the future and excited to lead American Academy forward with the mission as our compass.”
