At front, Sheriff Tony Spurlock (kneeling) and other deputies visited with AA students during morning car pool on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

American Academy (AA) continues to support law enforcement and is appreciative of their presence in the Castle Pines community. In honor of January’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) deputies and AA school resource officer Deputy Eric Rhymer were invited to the Castle Pines campus for a drive-thru breakfast and visit with campus students and faculty.

Students from Castle Pines American Academy presented DCSO deputies with a hand stamped poster of thanks and appreciation for all they do for the local schools and the community. They also made thank you “goodie” bags for the deputies.
