The developers of The Canyons, a community slated to be built directly east of Castle Pines North on the other side of I-25, is making slow but steady progress toward construction. In March, the developer made an application to the County to readjust some of their plans in the southern portion of the project.
The application was made in order to “allow for a development layout that provides for more contiguous open space and less grading for road construction,” according to documents filed with the county.
When the project is complete, The Canyons will have about 1,500 homes (roughly half the total number of homes in Castle Pines North). Construction has not yet begun on any homes and has not yet been scheduled.
