The annual Turweston Lane chili cook off was held on Sunday, October 5. Friends and neighbors gathered together thanks to resident Laurie Jacobs who plans the event each year! Drum roll please … this year’s best chili award goes to The Laity Family, with second place going to The Squires Family and third place to Kevin Zehnder.
Awards were also given for side dishes and desserts. Side dish honors go to: First Place – Elisabeth Ware; Second Place (tie) – Curtis Hughes and Laurie Jacobs; Third Place – Susanne Sadler. The top desserts were: First Place – Michelle Laity; Second Place – Lauren Burgess; Third Place -Kenya Huppert.
