Holiday spirit is alive and well

Special thanks to all our readers who have sent in photos of the antler-less elk statue in Elk Ridge Park these past couple months. In the holiday spirit, our neighborhood friend received some temporary antlers from a kind and creative anonymous community member. According to City Manager Michael Penny, the City is aware and has plans to replace the elk’s permenant antlers. “It’s the complexity of the type of metal and replacement, not an issue of money or desire,” he stated. We look forward to sharing updated photos once the antlers are replaced.
