Is creative writing or research your thing?
Are you looking for an impactful way to give back in your community? Is creative writing or research your thing? The Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) is looking for someone passionate about community service who is a skilled writer and
researcher to join their team as a grant writer. This position is volunteer/unpaid.
DCCF provides resources and financial grants to the hundreds of local nonprofit organizations serving the needs within our community. The goal with this volunteer position is to deepen that impact while building strong relationships with DCCF funding and community partners.
As a successful grant writer for DCCF, you must be detail-oriented, tenacious and creative in researching funding opportunities, and a compelling storyteller. DCCF is looking for someone to craft persuasive proposals to secure public and private grants that align with its mission.
With the exception of submission deadlines, there will be a great deal of autonomy and flexibility in your schedule – while also being supported by DCCF staff.
Email monica@dccf.org for additional information. DCCF hopes to hear from you!
