Making the world a better place, one PB&J and pair of socks at a time

Sue Lee, one of the co-founders of the Sock It To ‘Em sock campaign (pictured center holding a cellphone) recently organized a special day of spreading love by teaming up with the Denver Peanut Butter Plan for an event called “Socks, Cops and Sandwiches.”

The day brought together more than 100 police officers and volunteers who each supplied a package of socks and spent several hours making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless throughout Denver.  The day was fun for all who attended and achieved the goal of sharing love for others during the Valentine’s weekend.
