MOMS Club of Castle Rock NW to conduct membership drive

By Anthonette Klinkerman

Being a SAHM, or Stay At Home Mom, can be an isolating experience, but fortunately help is on the way in the form of MOMS Club. If you are a SAHM and are not yet a member, mark your calendar for the August 7 membership drive from 10 a.m. to noon at the new Castle Pines Academy.

MOMS Club recognizes the need for support for moms who choose to stay home, and therefore offers a wide variety of activities to provide much-needed
connections. This international non-profit organization has some 2000+ chapters in seven countries.

Activities and events are often held during the day with kids being welcome, but there is always the offer of the occasional mom’s night out.

The fundraising done by MOMS Clubs benefits local organizations that serve families and children.

Donations are always welcome and allow the clubs to further fund organizations and community service events.

Member and former president Anna Mallinson urges local businesses to get involved with the drive by purchasing ad space on the flyers and promotional materials being developed for the event.

For more information, contact her at 303-708-0366, or e-mail.

As of press time, participants included Castle Pines Academy, South Metro Fire & Rescue, and numerous at-home and local businesses.
