Open for business February 2, the Castle Pines Postal Center (CPPC) provides postal convenience for those looking to mail a letter or package, purchase stamps, or perform any of the functions found at the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Although the CPPC is a privately-owned independent business, it contracts with the United States government to be an official representative of the USPS. Additionally, the CPPC offers a variety of novelty and specialty gifts such as gift wrap, candles, jewelry, floral arrangements, greeting cards, toys, mugs, and – oh yeah, don’t forget the kitchen sink.

They are conveniently located at 7280 Lagae Road, Suite 6 in the King Soopers shopping center. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed Sunday. They can be reached at 303-663-0612.

Questions about the city name and zip code?

The postal service has advised residents of the Castle Pines community that it is perfectly acceptable to use either “Castle Rock,” “Castle Pines,” or “Castle Pines North” as a mailing address within the greater Castle Pines community, provided the correct zip code is included.

Remember, however, that if you wish to use something other than “Castle Rock” on mailings that have to do with official business (like credit cards or other matters where you are a registered account holder), your address needs to match what is on file with the company where you hold the account.

“We are very happy to be in this location where we are accessible to the entire community,” said store manager Joy Stalzer. “Come in and see us.”
