Octoberfest Kicks Off Fall in CPN

by Elean Gersack

On a perfect fall day, families hit the streets in Castle Pines North (CPN) for Octoberfest on Saturday, October 13. Hayrides ushered guests to and from the fun in the Safeway and Village Square shopping areas, located near I-25 and Castle Pines Parkway.

Artisan vendors and local business owners transformed parking areas into a festive and bustling celebration of fall. Children enjoyed face painting, a giant slide, and a host of activities, while everyone enjoyed pre-holiday shopping, fresh cooked food, and live music.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office presented Child Safety Day during the event. McGruff the Crime Dog, the K-9 team, the new Road Rage vehicle, and the Race-A-Cop car were just a few of the items on hand.

Octoberfest was sponsored by Business in the Pines, Prudential Preferred Real Estate, Village Square Center, Meridian Homes, Castle Rock Bank, and Safeway. For more information about future Business in the Pines ev
