Public television goes digital

Information provided by Colorado Public Television

Beginning January 4, 2011, all three channels of Colorado Public Television will be available on digital Xfinity TV.

On January 4th, Colorado Public Television is expanding into new mountain communities, and this expansion requires it move exclusively to digital Xfinity TV. If you have analog Xfinity TV (basic cable) in the Denver area, you’ll need to take action to continue viewing Colorado-focused programming.

Call 800-XFINITY for help deciding if digital cable is right for you. When you sign up, you’ll receive three free pay-per-view movie coupons, just for CPT12 viewers and members.

With digital Xfinity TV, you’ll also get multi-cast channels: Channel 12.2 features the best of independently produced documentaries, music, travel, cooking, exercise and more, while Channel 12.3 features MHz WORLDVIEW – a lineup of programs from around the world that provide diverse cultural perspectives for a globally-minded audience.

Wherever your travels in Colorado take you, keep exploring the community voice programming found on Channel 12, from news & public affairs, arts, children’s, cooking, documentaries and films, to our extensive line-up of programs that focus our very own lens on Colorado issues.

Please Note: This change to digital cable will not affect satellite and over-the-air viewers.
