Congratulations to RHMS winners!
Of the 16 middle school students who qualified for The Denver Post Colorado State Spelling Bee, six were from Douglas County schools, and three were from Rocky Heights Middle School. Aayush Singh, Aidan Sheehy and Kathleen Keesey (pictured left) represented RHMS at the state spelling bee. Keesey and Singh advanced through the first and second state round. Neither placed at the March 5 event, but Keesey won the top spot at the Douglas County School District Spelling Bee.
