Castle Pines resident Ric Carrington participated in Veterans Day by visiting STEM School Highlands Ranch to present and read to the fourth grade elementary classes. Carrington, a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marines, spoke about his military experience, answered questions, and invited the children to look at awards, medals and his commemorative sword (pictured above being held by six students).
