Special night for dads and daughters

Jenna Patterson danced the night away with her dad Bill. “The best part of the night was spending time with my dad”, said Jenna. “I love him!”

Butterflies and special memories were the theme at the 18th annual Father Daughter Dance at The Country Club at Castle Pines (CCCP). Held on March 1, this dance is one of the most popular events at the club and is an evening that fathers and their daughters look forward to all year.

The girls and their dads enjoyed dancing the macarena, the chicken dance, and the limbo, and all-time favorites like YMCA brought everyone to the dance floor. The young girls belted out “Let it Go” from the movie “Frozen” and the evening ended with a special dance between the fathers and daughters to the song “Butterfly Kisses.”

In addition to dancing, the attendees enjoyed a special dinner and the young girls indulged in the talents of two balloon artists. Each of the girls received a beautiful rhinestone butterfly necklace as a special memento of the evening.

Bill Patterson and his daughter Jenna attended the event for their second year. “The best thing about the dance is that it allows you to live in the moment and enjoy the special bond shared between you and your daughter,” remarked Patterson. “You also get a great portrait to put on your desk at work!”

The Father Daughter Dance is only one of many events hosted by the CCCP. For membership information, contact Brian Nishi by e-mail or call 303-660-6807.

More than 100 fathers and daughters attended the ever-popular Father Daughter Dance at The Country Club at Castle Pines. The night was special for so many of the dads who enjoyed spending one-on-one time with their daughters.
