Friends challenging friends to be their best … that’s what Stacia Wilkins of Forest Park and her friends Kimberly Dunn and Dave Morrisey did on July 12. The trio completed the Triple Bypass Bicycle Ride, which stretches 120 miles from Evergreen (Bergen Park) over Juniper Pass (11,140 ft.), Loveland Pass (11,990 ft.), Swan Mountain, Vail Pass (10,560 ft.), and concluding in Avon. The ride has more than 10,000 feet of challenging elevation gain with stunning mountain views along the way. Wilkins said, “The ride took about eight hours and actually covers four passes. I used the ride as training for the Ironman Boulder in August.”
