Village Homes Association annual meeting

Board position vacant

The Castle Pines Homes Association’s (CPHA) annual meeting of the members will be held on Monday, March 8 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cielo at Castle Pines, located at 485 West Happy Canyon Road.

This will be a great time to meet new neighbors, visit with old acquaintances, become more informed about community development and events, provide input to the board of directors regarding community decisions, and elect one director to the board.

All Village residents should have received an annual packet the first week of February. The annual packet contains an agenda of the meeting, a proxy vote form, and a bio from each of the board candidates. There will be one board position up for election at the meeting. The candidates running are: Mark Jost and incumbent Ed Will. The February issue of the Village Reporter included information on each candidate, including a Q&A.

Please plan to attend this very important meeting to learn more about the activities of the CPHA and the issues important to Castle Pines Village. If you cannot attend, please send your voting proxy per the instructions provided in the annual packet.

Residents who are unable to attend the annual meeting may return proxies by either mailing them in the provided envelope or delivering them to the secured voting box in the CPHA’s office at 688 Happy Canyon Road.

A quorum of one-tenth of Class A voters (approximately 150 CPHA members) must be present to elect a board member, so it is very important to submit a proxy if you cannot be present on March 8.

Important Election Notice: Proxies for the board election must be mailed in the provided envelope or dropped off to the secure ballot box in the CPHA office. Unlike previous years the gates will not be accepting proxies.

For more information, contact the CPHA at 303-814-1345 or visit www.castlepinesvillage.org.
